The girls varsity basketball team couldn’t overcome slow starts to both halves in its section loss at Knoch on Monday night.

The Golden Rams trailed the whole game.

They cut the deficit to one, 22-21, on a 3-pointer by Kalleigh Nerone at the first half buzzer.

Katelyn Myers led the team with 12 points and Nerone had 10.

They Golden Rams fell to 9-6 overall and 5-3 in the section.

They will be right back in action on Tuesday when they travel up the road to St. Joseph for a non-section game at 7:30 p.m
