Girls Varsity Basketball Clinches Spot In Class 4A WPIAL Playoffs

The girls varsity basketball team clinched a spot in the Class 4A WPIAL playoffs on Monday night with its win against Freeport.
It also gave them the season sweep against the Yellow Jackets.
The Golden Rams had four players in double figures, led by Kalleigh Nerone with 21 points.
Jocelyn Bielak finished with 16 points and Shelby Wojcik and Katelyn Myers had 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The girls improved to 11-7 overall and 6-3 in the section.
They will travel to Derry next on Thursday at 6 p.m.
