Boys Varsity Basketball Books Trip To Second Straight WPIAL Semifinals

The boys varsity basketball defeated its section rival, Hampton, in the WPIAL Class 4A Quarterfinals at North Allegheny on Thursday.
After being tied after the first quarter, the Golden Rams broke the game open by outscoring the Talbots 26-14 in the second and third quarters.
For the second straight playoff game, Cameron Reigard led the offense in scoring with 14 points. Bradyn Foster and Jimmy Kunst both had 13 points.
Chandler Thimons had 10 rebounds.
Highlands will face top-seed Lincoln Park in the semifinals on Monday at a site and time to be determined.
