Girls Varsity Basketball Falls To Powerhouse North Catholic In WPIAL Semifinals

The girls varsity basketball team were only down four at half, but No. 2 North Catholic pulled away in the second half in the WPIAL Class 4A semifinals on Tuesday at Gateway High School.
It was the third meeting of the season between the two teams with North Catholic winning each one.
Katelyn Myers led the team with 14 points. Kalleigh Nerone finished with 13 points.
The Golden Rams will travel to No. 4 Quaker Valley on Thursday in the third place game at a time to be announced.
