The boys varsity basketball team went on the road in the first round of the PIAA Class 4A tournament and came away with a convincing win against District 6 champion, Greater Johnstown.
The Golden Rams built a quick double digit lead in the first quarter that they continued to build on.
Jimmy Kunst led five players in double figures with 23 points. Cameron Reigard wasn’t far behind with 19 points.
Chandler Thimons had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Bradyn Foster and Jordyn Tavarez had 12 and 11 points, respectively.
The Golden Rams will face WPIAL champion, Lincoln Park, in the second round on Tuesday at a site and time to be announced.
