Varsity Softball’s Comeback Halted By Rain

The varsity softball team were well within striking distance of picking up the road win at Fox Chapel in the season-opener when the game was called.
Down 7-3 entering the fifth inning, the Golden Rams scored three runs to pull within one with 2 1/2 innings to go.
They would not get a chance to complete the comeback as the game was called after no delay, making it a complete game.
The Golden Rams will have another chance for their first win win they host Valley tomorrow at 4 p.m.
