Boys Varsity Baseball falls to Valley 13 – 6

pitching faltered in the late innings as the varsity baseball team lost to Valley on non-section play on Thursday.
Valley scored 10 unanswered runs in the final two innings.
After falling behind 3-0, the Golden Rams took a 6-3 lead after five innings.
Recording RBI hits were Mike Alworth and Nick McQuade with singles and an RBI double by Carson McGraw. Alworth had two hits on the day and two runs scored. McGraw also scored a run by stealing home and reached base via a walk.
Boyd Brown had two singles, a walk, stolen base and run scored.
Luke Bombalski had a single, walk and two runs scored. Kristian Kocon also had a single.
The Golden Rams fell to 1-5 overall.
They will be back in section play on Tuesday when they play North Catholic at 3:30 p.m. at No Offseason in Russelton.
