The varsity baseball team fell to North Catholic on the road at No Offseason in Russelton on Tuesday in a section game.
The Golden Rams got behind early as the Trojans took a 7-0 lead in the first inning.
Five players recorded hits for Highlands.
Luke Bombalski, Carson Goldberg, Sal Barbarino, Kristian Kocon and Nick McQuade each had singles. Kocon recorded the lone RBI.
The second game of the series will be tomorrow night at Highlands at 7 p.m.
