CONGRATULATIONS to senior Bradyn Foster for his commitment to continue his academic and basketball career at Division I University of Pennsylvania (Penn), an Ivy League school in Philadelphia. The Highlands Athletic Department celebrated Bradyn's decision with a certificate signing with his family and friends on Nov. 8.
A standout on the court at Highlands and with Caveman Basketball, Bradyn received Division I offers from Toledo, Lehigh, Fairfield, Central Arkansas and the Naval Academy. He chose Penn because of the academic and basketball opportunities, his relationships with the coaching staff, and its location.
A 6-foot-8 top forward in WPIAL basketball, Bradyn made the All Section Team in his sophomore and junior years, and last year he was also selected to the All State 3rd Team.
The son of Highlands educators Mike & Faith Foster and brother to Preston (10th grade) and Keian (7th grade), Bradyn intends to study Economics at Penn. He is also the grandson of retired long-time Highlands educators Coach Chet & LaVella Foster.
Congratulations and good luck, Bradyn!
